At Seminole State College

competed two seasons for coach Richard Schroyer at Seminole State College in Seminole, Okla... earned first-team NJCAA All-Academic Student Athlete accolades for carrying a perfect 4.0 grade-point average... member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society... qualified for all tournaments as a sophomore in 2016-17 as the No. 1 bag... claimed third in the Coffeyville CC Invitational firing a 1-over 145 in the 36-hole competition carding scores of 72 and 73... carded scores of 74, 78 and 77 at the NJCAA District V Tournament...

At Gunter High School

a multi-sport standout at Gunter (Texas) High School... a first-team all-league performer taking third at the District 10-3 golf tournament as a senior in 2015... a second-team all-region honoree claiming seventh at the II-3A championships in 2015... claimed the District 12-2A individual title as a junior in 2014 firing a 3-over 74... a three-year starter on the Gunter High football squad helping the Tigers to the state quarterfinals as a senior in 2014, to the regional finals as a sophomore in 2012 and to the area round as a junior in 2013... earned Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sportswriters Association (TSWA) Class 3A All-State honorable mention as a senior defensive back... also claimed District 5-3A Division II Defensive MVP honors as a senior... earned Texas High School Coaches' Association second-team Academic All-State accolades as a senior... a two-way All-District 7-2A Division II honoree as a junior in 2014 claiming first-team mention on defense at linebacker and was a second-team pick on offense at running back... gained All-District 7-2A Division II honorable mention his sophomore season as an outside linebacker... a three-time academic all-district selection... also earned track & field and baseball letters... member of the National Honor Society and the National English Honor Society...
