At Rockwall High School

three-year letter winner for coach Kasie Brewer at Rockwall (Texas) High School... two-time Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region II-6A performer following 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons... led Yellowjackets to a 25-9 record and a District 11-6A title and on to the Area round of the UIL Texas Playoffs as a senior in 2018-19... averaged 10.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game to lead RHS to a 28-9 record, a district title and another Area round showing as a junior in 2017-18... named District 11-6A Defensive MVP after averaging 10.5 points per game as a sophomore in 2016-17 helping Yellowjackets to a 22-10 record and on to the UIL Texas Region II-6A quarterfinals...

daughter of Maquanda Mathis... uncle -- Marcus Mathis -- was a four-year MSU football letter winner from 2007-10 closing his career as the Mustangs third all-time leading rusher with 2,433 yards and 17 touchdowns...
