Midwestern State closes out the regular season on Thursday night on the road at Cameron as the Mustangs renew the Red River Rivalry with the Aggies, who rallied to beat MSU in December at D.L. Ligon Coliseum, 88-87. The Mustangs closed out its home scheduled with four consecutive wins and was 12-4 "under the dome" this season. Dallas Baptist, West Texas A&M and UT Permian Basin were the other three teams to earn victories in Wichita Falls this season. The Mustangs have struggled on the road, where they are 4-7 this season, but they can snap a five-game road losing streak with a win at Cameron. A victory would give the Stangs a 17-11 record overall, but some near misses are costing them a berth in the LSC Postseason Tournament.
