Laufenberg had a nine-year career as a quarterback in professional football, including two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Following his playing career, Laufenberg became a prominent sportscaster in Dallas-Fort Worth. He is entering his 28th season as the analyst on the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network.
 
This special Stang Gang Podcast is a preview of Laufenberg's Welcome Back Dinner appearance at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Sunday Aug. 18. The event begins with a social gathering at 5:30 p.m. The dinner, catered by Ribs, Inc., follows at 6 p.m., with the program starting at approximately 6:45.
