The Stang Gang Podcast for Thursday, May 21 features Midwestern State men's soccer All American Daniel Woolard. He became the first Midwestern State student-athlete to earn National Soccer Coaches' Association of America first-team All-America honors following his senior campaign in 2006. A model of consistency, Woolard made 80 starts on the back line helping the Mustangs to 60 wins, a pair of Southwest Soccer Conference titles and an NCAA Division II region finalist showing. Selected in the fourth round of the 2007 Major League Soccer supplemental draft played 85 fixtures over six season in the MLS for the Chicago Fire and D.C. United. Upon retirement, Woolard enrolled in law school at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor in May of 2019, then obtained his State Texas Bar attorney license in October. As an FIFA agent, he is a co-founder of Felkrem, a sports marketing agency.
