The Stang Gang Podcast for Friday, April 24 features Midwestern State basketball legend LeRoy Shaw. Shaw arrived in Wichita Falls from Harlem before the 1972-73 season before leading the Indians to consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearances. MSU followed up a Round of 16 appearance in 1974 with a run to the national championship game in 1975. Shaw scored 1,759 points during his career and is widely considered to be the program leader in assists and steals. He was affectionately known as the Dome Burglar and has enjoyed a long, illustrious basketball career playing since the age of 9.
