Ella Pando broke up Dallas Baptist's bid for a perfect score while leading the Mustangs to a runner-up showing in the Orville Rogers XC Opener, and Midwestern State had four runners enter the chute side-by-side en route to a perfect 15-point sweep in the Mustang Derby at River Creek Golf Course in Burkburnett, Texas, last week. Jadyn Dangerfield and Jaycee Lyons earned weekly accolades. Dangerfield garnered LSC Runner of the Week, while Lyons was named LSC Freshman Runner of the Week. MSU is now preparing for the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree, one of the nation's oldest races. The meet on Sept. 23 will take place at the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course, which recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation.
