WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Midwestern State faced a tough doubleheader against No. 13 Oklahoma Christian at Mustangs Park, falling 12-0 in the first game and 8-2 in the second.

In the first game, the Mustangs struggled offensively, managing only two hits over five innings. Oklahoma Christian took an early lead in the first inning with a nine-run surge, highlighted by Maci George's three-RBI double to left field. Midwestern State was unable to score, leaving the inning with a 9-0 deficit. In the second inning, the Eagles added two more runs with a double from Sydnee Seat, extending their lead to 11-0 after two innings. Both teams were scoreless in the third and fourth innings, with MSU managing two hits in the fourth, but failing to score. The Eagles added one more run in the fifth inning with an RBI single by Taryn Blazevich, concluding the game with a final score of Oklahoma Christian 12, Midwestern State 0.

In the second game, Midwestern State fell behind early but managed to respond in the second inning when

However, the Eagles pulled ahead in the fourth inning with a home run by Danae Lopez, followed by a series of plays that capitalized on a fielding error, allowing them to extend their lead to 3-1. The sixth inning saw No. 13 OC widen their lead significantly, scoring five runs to make it 8-1 at the end of the inning. In the seventh inning,
Mia Sanchez tripled and later scored on a wild pitch, bringing the final score to 8-2 in favor of the Eagles.
