This week's Stang Gang Podcast features the latest news surrounding Midwestern State Softball with head coach Kae Lani Bryan.

Midwestern State begins a new era with Bryan as the fourth head coach in the history of the program makes her MSU debut at the Lone Star D2 College Classic in Mansfield this week. 

The Mustangs are playing five games over three days. Friday MSU opens the season against Central Missouri at 2 p.m. and takes on Rockhurst in the second game on Friday at 4:45 p.m.

MSU meets Maryville on Saturday at 2 p.m. before battling Augustana (S.D.) on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and Drury at 11:15 a.m.

Bryan, a native of Picher, Oklahoma, joins the Mustangs after seven seasons as the head coach at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas. She is the all-time winningest coach in Fort Scott history with 122 victories.

Bryan led the Greyhounds to a school-record 40 wins in 2024 and the first-ever Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference title in program history.
