A candid conversation with head basketball coach Jon Trilli, who shares his thoughts about the men's basketball team and previews upcoming action for the Mustangs.

Midwestern State is on the road Thursday and will renew the Red River Rivalry as it faces Cameron at Aggie Gym. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Mustangs return to D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Saturday for their second meeting of the season with Oklahoma Christian. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m.
 
Midwestern State (5-11, 3-6) is seeking its first road win of the year following an 84-60 loss to Dallas Baptist at Kitty Magee Arena in Denton last week. Orlando Horton, Jr. was 5 of 10 from the field and scored a team-leading 15 points for the Mustangs, who had three players in double figures. Jonathan Jackson hit three 3-pointers on his way to 13 points, and Davyon Butler finished with 11 points. Tehshaundre Cole led the team with 11 rebounds, including five of the Mustangs' six offensive rebounds. MSU had 27 turnovers that led to 37 points for the Patriots.
