Midwestern State is in the midst of a rigorous schedule, facing the five teams at the top of the Lone Star Conference standings in succession.  The Mustangs opened a three-game homestand against Lubbock Christian before hosting Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M. The Mustangs now embark on a three-game road trip that begins at Kitty Magee Arena as Texas Woman's hosts Midwestern State on Thursday night at 6 p.m. Then the Mustangs travel to UT Tyler on Saturday. Brenita Jackson sees her team beginning to jell in a season filled with adversity and is encouraged by the way her team is playing against quality opponents.
