Midwestern State is wrapping up a four-game road trip this week as it plays the conference opener at Texas A&M International on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The Mustangs home opener is scheduled for Saturday afternoon as MSU hosts LSC newcomer UT Dallas at 1 p.m.

The Mustangs have opened the season with a record of 0-2-1, but MSU is creating more chances than ever before. The team is 12^th in the nation with 21 shots per game. However, the Mustangs are just putting 6.33 shots on goal per game, and they are allowing 2.33 goals per game with a .500 save percentage.

A young team is still learning, but their head coach is pleased with their response during training sessions.
