WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- After starting the season 1-0-2 on the road, the No. 19-ranked Mustangs host the MSU Soccer Fall Festival and face No. 14-ranked Fort Hays State in the home opener at Stang Park on Thursday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Southern Nazarene and Eastern New Mexico play a 5 p.m. match to start the festivities on Thursday, and the Mustangs will battle No. 17-ranked Southern Nazarene in a match on Saturday night. Fort Hays State and Eastern New Mexico meet at noon on Saturday.

Midwestern State opened the season with a 5-3 victory at MSU Denver but has since played a 1-1 draw at Regis and a 2-2 draw at Rogers State.
Mere Escobar, the reigning D2CCA Ron Lenz National Player of the Year, has two goals and two assists to lead the Mustangs with six points.
Eduardo Cerna has also scored two goals, and
Liam Pritchard has three assists for the Mustangs.
Daniel Robles has started two matches in goal and allowed three goals while facing 15 shots. The junior from Tyler, Texas, has made three saves.
Jakob Stone, a senior transfer from the Air Force Academy and a native of Anchorage, Alaska, played 90 minutes in goal at MSU Denver and conceded three goals on nine shots with one save.
Midwestern State was 10-1-1 at home last season and has not lost a regular season match at Stang Park since a 1-0 setback against West Texas A&M in the 2022 regular season finale.
Fort Hays State arrives in Wichita Falls with a three-match winning streak to start the season, including a 5-0 victory over Maryville at Children's Mercy Victory Field at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Missouri.
Freshman midfielder Bastian Carlman scored a hat trick on four shots at Maryville and leads the Tigers with three goals this season. Senior forward Anders Sandsto scored twice on two shots at Maryville.
Fort Hays State was tabbed third in the GAC/MIAA Preseason Men's Soccer Poll. Rogers State was picked to finish second, and Southern Nazarene, the 2023 conference champion, was picked first — receiving all six first-place votes.
Midwestern State clashes with the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm at 7 p.m. on Saturday night in the second of three straight home matches for the Mustangs.
