WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Third ranked Midwestern State built an early lead and never looked back to boost the unbeaten streak to 35 following a 2-0 shutout of Eastern New Mexico on Thursday at Stang Park.
The Mustangs improve to 11-0-1 on the year and 8-0-1 in Heartland Conference action. With the win, MSU Texas matched Southern Connecticut State (10/10/95 – 11/23/96) for the fourth-longest unbeaten streak in NCAA DII history.

Koby Sapon-Amoah staked the Maroon and Gold to a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute of play. Junior
Hikaruhito Meike fired a shot from the left side and collected the rebound after the ball deflected off a pair of Greyhounds. The Sendai, Japan, native swung the ball to Sapon-Amoah over the right post who drilled the shot past ENMU's Ross Dalton.
The Mustangs expanded the lead to 2-0 on junior
Rory O'Keeffe's third penalty kick in as many matches. ENMU was called for a foul in the box on a breakaway opportunity in the 40th minute before O'Keeffe drilled the PK.

Taylor Lampe held the Greyhounds to four shots on goal, all saved by Lampe between the pipes.
