Mustangs to host ID Camp

This summer marks the fourth year of The College Soccer ID Camp, hosted by Midwestern State University featuring the women's soccer staff from August 5-6.

The two-day event is geared for advanced player development and exposure to what it's like to compete at the college level. In addition to several MSU players are to participate in the camp. There will be coaches from various levels of soccer attending the combine for demonstration purposes in attendance for 2017.

The College Soccer ID Camp believes "the game is the best teacher." The same philosophy will be applied at this combine. The focus of the activities will be learning through play. Enrollment in the camp will be extremely limited to allow individual attention for each player from the staff of college coaches.

There will be five sessions with a combination of small sided and full 11 vs. 11 games as the core of the combine's curriculum. Players should plan on arriving Saturday morning. The cost of the camp is $135 per athlete.

Facilities

The College Soccer ID Camp will be held at the state of the art MSU Soccer Field and practice pitches. Midwestern boasts two regulation playing fields with championship quality Bermuda turf for the ultimate playing experience on the game pitch. The practice facilities feature a newly installed Astroplay surface.

Housing and Meals

Housing and meals are not included in the camp price. Players who are attending from outside of the Wichita Falls area will need to make arrangements prior to attending camp.

There are several housing and dining options around the campus.

For any questions regarding meals and housing, please feel free to contact MSU assistant coach Hope Siffert at (970) 403-4941 or via email at hesiffert1030@mymwsu.edu.
