Midwestern State set to host South Central Regionals

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The NCAA Division II South Central Region is coming back to D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
 
Midwestern State earned the top seed and will open with Heartland champion and No. 8-seed St. Mary's (Texas) Saturday night at 6 p.m.
 
The Mustangs will serve as opener of the Saturday's session and will be followed by fourth-seeded Washburn and No. 5-seeded Northwest Missouri at 8:30 p.m.
 
The opening session of the regional features No. 3 seed Arkansas Tech against No. 6 seed West Texas A&M at noon followed by No. 2 seed Tarleton State versus No. 7 seed Missouri Southern at 2:30 p.m.
 
The semifinal round follows Sunday at 5 and 7:30 p.m. with the championship game set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
 
The winner advances to the Elite Eight set for the Bank of Kentucky Center in Highland Heights, Ky. from March 21-24.
 
Tickets for the South Central Regional go on sale Monday morning at 10 a.m.  Only all-session passes will be available for purchase prior to the start of tournament play.
 
The cost for all-session reserve tickets are $40 for floor seats and $30 for loge seats. All-session general admission passes are $22 while student and senior citizen passes are set at $15.
 
Tickets will be available on MSUMustangs.com or at the MSU Athletic Offices in D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
