Coffman and Ramirez appear in fall ITA rankings

TEMPE – All-Americans Maddy Coffman and Ashley Ramirez concluded the fall season ranked No. 22 in doubles while Coffman earned the No. 16 ranking in singles.
Coffman took the No. 2 spot in the regional rankings after advancing to the semifinals of the ITA South Central Region Championships. The Flower Mound native is coming off a 15-8 campaign playing the No. 1 singles flight, matching Alex Odell-Michells program record 15 wins at the No. 1 line.
The duo of Coffman and Ramirez came in at No. 22 in doubles after a 19-5 campaign a season ago that garnered All-America honors. The pair advanced to the Round of 16 in the regional championships to earn the No. 3 ranking in the South Central Region.
Midwestern State opens the 2019 spring season against Wyoming on Friday, Jan. 25, in Lubbock, Texas.
