Scott Boswell was amongst more than 200 players eager to be a part of Midwestern State's introduction to football in 1988.
He experienced the growth of the program as a key member of the offensive line as he became the first player during MSU's modern football era to twice earn first-team all-conference honors.
Boswell first earned All-Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association as a junior 1990 before paving the way for MSU's famed Bermuda Triangle of Craig Pettigrew, Henry Anders and Derrick Waggoner in 1991.
The Indians rolled up 4,496 yards of total offense including 3,491 rushing yards on the way to a 9-3 mark, a TIAA championship and a berth in the NAIA Division II National Quarterfinals.
