MSU Athletics

Richard Haskins (1983-87) was tabbed an NAIA Academic All America after his senior season of 1986-87.

The Midland, Mich. native was MSU's lone National Merit Scholar on campus when he helped the Indians produce one of the more memorable tennis seasons to date.

Haskins and his teammates posted a 21-5 team mark and finished ninth at the NAIA National Tournament in the spring of 1985.
