Lombard enjoyed a stellar career at Midwestern State guiding the Lady Indians to their only Lone Star Conference championship and to the program's first NCAA Division II postseason appearance.

The versatile guard from Canyon, Texas tallied 1,452 points during a career which spanned from 1998-2002 to rate fifth on the school's all-time scoring list.

Lombard is the only player in MSU women's basketball history to earn All-America status as she was named a D2 Bulletin third-team All American during Midwestern's conference title run in 2001 when she was also named LSC North Division Player of the Year.

Her quick and deft release allowed her to score 15.8 points per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the field as MSU notched a 23-7 mark before bowing out in the first round of the South Central Regionals.

Lombard was also named a first-team All-LSC North performer as a senior when she averaged a career-best 18.4 points per game as MSU narrowly missed the postseason despite posting a 20-9 record.

As the daughter of legendary coach Joe Lombard, she helped Canyon High School to a 116-5 mark during her prep career including a state championship in 1996. She earned All-State honors as a senior and was a three-time all-district and two-time all-region pick.

Younger brother, Tate, also lettered at Midwestern from 2002-06.
