Lovett-Castles averaged 8.3 points per game while shooting 55.9 percent as a freshman to help coach Jeff Ray's Lady Indians to a 28-6 record and to the Round of 16 at the NAIA national tournament in Jackson, Tenn.

Midwestern State returned to the Sweet 16 the following year with Lovett-Castles netting 6.2 points per game as a sophomore.

She developed a deadly 3-point shot as an upperclassman shooting 34.3 percent from the arc as a junior upping her average to 9.5 points per game, then connected on 35.2 percent from the arc as a senior tallying a career-high 11.5 points per contest.
