MSU Athletics

John Henry Young (1961-65), a product of Fairfield (Texas) High School, came to MU in 1961. Sonny's shooting and great jumping ability made him a favorite at home and on the road. He led the Indians in scoring three years and hit a career total of 2,005 points. Young was named an NAIA All American in 1965.
