Henry Johnson (1992-95) flourished as a defensive back and punt returner during Midwestern State's transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II in the mid-1990s.

The Gainesville, Texas product became the fifth player in program history to amass 200 career tackles and graduated as the school's career and single-season punt return yardage leader.
