Bobby Evans (1950-53) was key to Midwestern University's emergence onto the national scene in the early 1950s. The two-time All-Gulf Coast Conference pick helped the Indians to the school's first NAIA national tournament appearance in 1953 and finished a stellar career with 705 points.
