Andrew Norman (1981-85) became Midwestern State's first tennis All American when he earned in the NAIA following the breakout 1984-85 season.

The Melbourne, Australia native reached the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Tournament and was a big part of a team which posted a 21-5 record and finished ninth nationally.
