WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State fell eight spots to No. 13 in the latest National Soccer Coaches' Association/Continental Tire Division II poll released Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Mustangs battled to a pair of scoreless draws last week at Texas A&M International and St. Edward's to fall to 3-0-2 on the season.
 
Midwestern is one of four teams from the South Central Region to receive mention in the poll joining No. 7 Regis (Colo.), No. 17 Fort Lewis (Colo.) and No. 23 West Texas A&M.
 
Regis moved ahead 12 spots after claiming wins over Colorado State-Pueblo and Metro State while Fort Lewis bounced back five spots to No. 17 claiming results over Colorado Mesa and California Baptist after setting for a tie with Colorado Mines.
 
West Texas A&M, which slipped 10 spots to No. 23, split its matches last week including a 2-1 win over No. 15 Fort Hays State (Kan.) and a 4-0 loss at Incarnate Word.
 
Lynn (Fla.) remained at the top spot for the second consecutive week followed Seattle Pacific, C.W. Post, Gannon (Pa.) and Rockhurst (Ill.) while Young Harris (Ga.), Regis, Tampa (Fla.), Quincy (Ill.) and Grand Canyon (Ariz.) round out the Top 10.
 
Midwestern has now carried a national ranking for each of the last 70 NSCAA polls in which it was eligible including 45 weeks in the Top 10.
 
The Mustangs host a pair of home matches this weekend at the MSU Soccer Field. MSU battles rival Incarnate Word Friday night at 7 p.m. before taking on Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) Sunday at 3 p.m.
