No. 7 Midwestern State takes on Central Oklahoma in a non-conference contest Saturday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
Each team has claimed wins in each of its last five games as the Mustangs look to improve to 13-0 on their home floor this season and to 54-2 since the start of the 2008-09 season at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Midwestern State carries a five-game winning streak and has won eight of nine games since suffering its first loss of the season on Jan. 14 at Eastern New Mexico.
The Mustangs are coming off of an 80-75 triple overtime win over Tarleton State Monday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum. The win propelled Midwestern into the top spot in the Lone Star Conference as it can clinch its six league title with a pair of wins next week at West Texas A&M and at Eastern New Mexico.
MSU remains at the comfortable confines of D.L. Ligon Coliseum where the Mustangs have won 13 consecutive games and are 54-2 since the start of the 2008-09 season.
Junior forward
Anthony Harris connected on a career-high four 3-pointers to finish with 20 points Monday night against Tarleton State. It was this team-best fifth 20-point performance of the season.
The 6-7 Fort Worth native is averaging 12.6 points while pulling down 5.1 rebounds a contest.
Reigning LSC Defensive Player of the Week
Keonte' Logan buried critical 3-pointers late regulation and in the first overtime to finish with nine points. The senior guard from Wichita Falls added seven assists, four rebounds and a steal.
Logan has knocked down 12 of his last 19 shots from arc (63.2 percent) over his last seven games.
Senior forward
Darrick Thomas delivered his third double-double as a Mustang by going for 10 points and 10 rebounds in Monday's win over the Texans. The 6-8 Dallas Samuell High product had 17 points and 12 rebounds against Texas A&M-Commerce earlier this season. He had 20 points and 12 rebounds last season at Incarnate Word.
Senior reserve guard
Kevin Loyd is not known for stuffing his stat line, but had one of the more impressive performances by an MSU player this season Monday night against Tarleton State. He was 5-for-6 from the free throw line and did not commit a turnover in a season high of 29 minutes on the floor for the Mustangs.
Midwestern is 19-0 when it outrebounds the opposition this season and is 17-0 when it holds its opponent to 70 points or less.
ABOUT THE BRONCHOS
Central Oklahoma (14-10) rolls into Saturday night's game at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on a five-game winning streak.
The Bronchos have sandwiched a pair of impressive runs this season starting off with a 7-3 mark before suffering through a stretch with losses in six of seven games. UCO has record six of its last seven.
Central Oklahoma was without three of its top four scorers when it suffered its worst loss to an MSU team on its home floor 80-61 back on Jan. 5.
Leading scorer Brent Friday, a 6-3 senior guard from Oklahoma City, scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in 35 minutes against the Mustangs. Friday is averaging 14.1 points per game on a stellar 59.6-percent shooting from the field while pulling down 5.5 rebounds and dishing 2.2 assists per game.
Returning to the lineup for the Bronchos are senior guard Tyler Phillips (11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 3s), senior guard Shane Carroll (11.2 points, 3.7 rebounds) and senior guard Johnny Stephene 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds).
The Bronchos are 2-4 against current regionally ranked teams while playing one of the toughest schedules in NCAA Division II. UCO has wins over South Central No. 3 Arkansas Tech and No. 7 Central Missouri, while taking losses to South Central No. 1 Tarleton State, No. 2 MSU, No. 3 Arkansas Tech, South No. 1 Christian Brothers (Tenn.) and Midwest No. 3 Hillsdale (Mich.).
UCO is coming off of an impressive 68-56 win over future MIAA program Lindenwood Thursday night at home. The Lions are 24-3.
Central Oklahoma coach Terry Evans has posted a 207-89 record (.699) in now his 10th season in Edmond. The Bronchos had five consecutive 20-win seasons coming into 2011-12.
ABOUT THE SERIES
Midwestern State meets Central Oklahoma for the 52nd time on the hardwood Saturday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Mustangs own a 28-23 edge in the series which dates back to the 1948-49 season.
MSU has won the last two games of the series including a 73-66 win over the Bronchos in the South Central championship game on March 15, 2011 before defeating UCO 80-61 on its home floor earlier this season.
The Mustangs are 18-4 against the Bronchos at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
